About us

Roxy
Roxy has been adopted in February 2008 when she was 2 1/4 years old. She had a very disturbed life so far as we have been the 4th family she was adopted by already. We never understood how the former families could have given her away as she is the most lovely yorkie in the whole world. The former owners (we do not call them parents) didn't want to invest much time in educating Roxy - so the first thing we did was going to pet school where we (the humans) learned a lot about our dog and her behaviour.Sometimes she has that look on her face that she now knows that she has finally found her home.Roxy has changed our life in so many ways. Most important, she makes us laugh every day and she brings smiles on our face with everything she does..!

Kalle
Kalle was adopted on 06th Nov 2010 from a private dog saving society named Hippo-Canis-Shelter in Schwelm Germany. These people are doing an incredible job, they are driving from Gemany to Hungary as often as possible to save dogs from euthanasia stations. As well as the people in Hungary from "Győri Állatmenhely" (Tierheim Györ) who rescue hundreds of animals a year. This is exactly how we found Kalle. He was brought to Germany a few weeks before we adopted him. From the very first day he was a kind and friendly dog, screaming for food and love. This little scamp has won our hearts within the first hour, especially Roxy has been fallen in love right from the start. We would like to encourage people who want to find a dog to think about saving one of these poor souls..they need your help!

Roxy story

Roxy has been adopted from a private foster home in 2008 at the age of 2. These 2 years must have been incredibly hard for her. She has been putting away every six month, so that we have already been the 4th family in her short life.

We never understood how someone can give the most beautiful and kind dog of the world away; just because she is afraid of bigger dogs. This indeed  is Roxy's big trauma - big black dogs. When we first caressed her we realized to scars beneath her snout - this must a bit scar. So everytime she sees a big dog she absolutely goes crazy because of fear and panic.

But when you love a dog you easily can cope with it, because apart from that Roxy is the best and loyal dog of the world. Unfortunately the former owners weren't thinking like that and bestowed her a "childhood" of fear and concern.

Roxy was ours, right from the first second - the moment we first saw her she was jumping and whining due to joy. She didn't stop kissing us..so cute!

Since then Roxy has changed our lives; she ist the best what could ever happen to us and she makes us laugh&smile every day. We gave her the love and the security she deserved, and after a while Roxy knew that she has finally found her home - forever!

Kalle story

As described above in our "About us" text we have adopted Kalle from Györ Hungary last year.

Lately we have found some pictures from Kalle right after he was found in Hungary by the people of the dog rescue Györ (Győri Állatmenhely). It was quite shocking to see our little lad that way. Unfortunately we do not really know how Kalle lived before he was found, was he roaming on the streets or living on a farm? Yesterday we have send an email to the head of the dog rescue station in Györ for two reasons.

First to say thank you for recovering Kalle - there are no words to describe how glad we are that we have found him on that hompage last year; especially Roxy has been fallen in love with him right from the start.

Second to get more information about his past and to give the team in Györ an update about his life today (we hope they enjoy reading our email).

Here are some pictures from past and present:
